  • Artwork Description

Three skiers spread across a steep alpine face in a composition that tells its story without explanation. Two figures in the lower portion descend confidently down the fall line. High above, reduced to a small isolated shape against pale blue and grey mountain, a third skier has taken an entirely different route - heading away from the obvious line with the kind of conviction that raises immediate questions. The palette is glacial whites, powder blues and soft greys, the skiers in heavy charcoal tones. The surface is textured with confidence and weight.

  • Artist's Insight

This comes from time spent skiing big terrain around Chamonix, where route choice really matters. It's inspired by those moments when you look across a face and realise not everyone has read the mountain the same way. The title is deliberately blunt - something every skier has either thought or shouted. But beneath the humour is a genuine respect for the mountains and the thin line between confidence and consequence.
